the difference between free range and battery chickens

Free range have much more space to move around and are let out doors for air and to eat grass and to live like a wild chickens. A battery chicken is locked indoors and does not see the light of day and there is not much room to move at all and they are fed so that they grow quicker and many of them have something wrong with them like a limb missing or there feathers falling off because they are not allowed to grow at there own pace and don't have a lot of room to grow. battery chickens are usually stuck to four chickens in one cage. Just think how you would look and feel if you where brought up in a small cage with lots of other people as instead to getting some room and fresh air.

Over 2,000,000 chickens die in their cages each year from disease.

There are 30,000,000 chickens in this Britain - 85% of these are living in Battery Farms.
